String Noise...
« on: January 22, 2019, 07:38:10 AM »
I am really happy with my latest bow...  I have the performance very close to what I want, it is accurate to shoot and it is dead quiet when shot with split finger...  I am looking further to improve this design...

My question is...  Is it possible the make a bow that shoots dead quiet with a three under draw???  It seems that split finger is always quieter than three under and I have heard on the net that that is the way it usually is...  Is this just the nature of the beast???

Tiller it for 3 under and it will get quieter.

3 under likes about a 1/8th negative tiller.

I tiller for equal limb timing and my bows are super quiet with 3 under.
