Stay safe y’all! Florida’s fixing to get hammered, and Georgia’s not far behind. We’re buttoned up and the generator is already locked to the boat shed with a cord run into the garage... chainsaw tested and ready to go!

Good luck and God bless down there. I’m up by Columbus Georgia and it sounds like we’ll get some wind and rain, but hopefully not much more than that. We still did some light prep work though.

Riding it out in Columbus GA too.  Should be just wet and windy here.  I will take in every deer that wants to come in.  Getting out may be harder as the big ones tend to stick on the walls.

Hope y’all made it through safe. I feel we were lucky. Lost the 8’ fence at the back of the lot but it was being held up by trees anyway. Lost two trees. Helped 3 neighbors with windfall. Stick a fork in me, I’m pooped. The rest will have to wait.

My lease got smashed in the panhandle. I'll be up there for the archery opener on Oct 20. I won't know the damage until then.

Sure are a lot of acorns on the ground. And new windfall makes lots of ground blind opportunities

All good here just a lot of debris, Big limbs down, and no power.  Praying for those to the West of us.  Mexico Beach, Tyndall Air Force Base, Panama City, and Jackson county to the north of them.  They really took a hit.

I am wore out too but relaxing outside shooting my bow and drinking a cold one makes it all better.

Tallahassee was spared the worst of it, which is laughable because there is a lot of damage here.  West of here is apocalyptic.  We lucked out with no home damage but a huge yard mess, lots of big trees down in the neighborhood.  Spent 3 hours yesterday cutting for a neighbor.  2 more hours for myself.  Still without power but the weather is a little cooler and we have a generator for the fridge, freezer, a couple lamps.  Just glad it isn't August.
