Ausable bowmen
«

My wife and I were antiqueing a couple of months ago when I found an old bear quiver that had one of the first Michigan Bowhunters felt patches on it. It also had a leather broadhead applied to it that had burnt into it "AuSable Bowmen 1948 and under that it had Vic.
Does anyone have any info that they could give my on the AuSable bowmen and maybe who Vic might have been.

I am probably wrong, but, I seem to recall reading an article about that group, possibly in an issue of TBM. Someone here is bound to know something.
