Well I am in the market for a longbow for my 10 y/o.  After countless hours on google I am very interested in the Samick Little Fox 54" takedown. 

My question is for the guys that have set a similar bow up for a youngster; off shelf or install plunger?

I hear ya...
My son is 9 yo and i want to get him a good bow to make a decent start.
There are several Sponsors here that specialize in bowz for kids.

Perhaps the Gang will give you more direction...
