Turkey scouting
« on: March 28, 2008, 05:19:00 PM »
My hunting buddy and myself went out scouting for turkey this morning in eastern Kansas, since bow season opens on the 1st. We saw 27 turkeys, lots of droppings, 1 coyote and 4 deer. I am really stoked about bow hunting for turkey traditional style. If I can get the bow that I am making finished this weekend and do some shooting I hope to hunt with it, if not I'll just use my recurve. Either way I am ready to roll Tuesday morning at 4:30.
