St. Jude’s knife!!!!!!!

I had a couple people ask me about the knife that is in my pics of doe I killed yesterday. Well I apologize that I havnt posted of this knife sooner but I really wanted a chance to field test it before I did.
I am very proud to say it passed the test with flying colors!
I have been trying to win the knife on st Jude’s for several years that is made my Thadbow and his son. Aka.. Little Thad! This year I was blessed to win the camp knife that he made for the auction!! (I’ll have to get some pics of it and add them later) I was pleasantly surprised to find that they not only made the camp knife but also threw in this knife as well.
First thing I noticed was how EXTREMELY sharp they both were. Both knives shaved with ease!! I was a little apprehensive about the hemp wrapped handles soaked in epoxy but as soon as I started to gut this deer I was surprised at how well the grip was! I think it actually got better with a little blood on it!!
Anyways, just want to give a shoutout to Thadbow and his sons for their very fine craftsmanship and their generosity to this site and st. Jude’s auction!
DO NOT HESITATE to bid should they make this offer again !

They do make incredible knives.  Congrats on your deer Randy.  Thad made this one, holds an edge very well.

Not sure if he is selling knives but they do end up in the st Jude auction every year.  You can pm thadbow he usually is on the knife forum or bow builders bench.

I met Thad one year at Denton Hill, they were shooting behind our group.  Ended up joining our group to shoot since we were spending too much time talking anyways. The next year he showed up with his son and we spent the day together. Probably one of the most memorable years at Denton Hill for me. Thad is a great guy he has an Incredible family.

The workmanship in the knives and bows thad has made is incredible. And it's clear he's passing that attention to detail down to his children. I'm honored to call him friend
