My Dream Hunt
« on: March 28, 2008, 08:17:00 PM »
Well Hello all,
It has finally happened!!! I drew my first ever archery Bull Elk tag in Arizona's 3B unit. I have been trying for 8 long, hard, no elk hunting years! The hunt takes place smack dab in the middle of the rut on sept. 12th to 24th or 25th I just can't remember. I have never been to this unit and was wondering if there are any other zonieans out there that can get me pointed in the right direction. I will be using a bunch of weekends there to get to know the area but was hoping some fellow archer could help me cut out the area's to avoid. I plan on using a t/d that I have built for the hunt. Please wish me luck. I'll be flying my son out from Oklahoma to share in the fun.
Thx Bill
The only thing I love more than hunting is my kids. 6 boys one perfect little girl.

Savor every moment. Don't lose the hunt trying too hard for a result.

Congrats.
