Centaur Broadhead
« on: November 19, 2018, 01:46:09 PM »
Jim had posted here a good while back about coming out with a lighter weight glue on head. I emailed him a while back, and he said it should be coming out anytime.

I just checked his sight,and it's there. It's a 150 grain glue on.

I'm going to put an order in. Check'em out,it looks cool!

Nice! They look like a good alternative to Simmons glue on Treesharks. I think I will order some, too.

Look like good heads. Anyone know who makes these heads?

I'm pretty sure Jim Neaves does. He told me he has someone who makes the ferrules, but i think he does the rest.

I tried the 180 grainers in single bevel this summer. Excellent penetration, suprisingly at least equal to if not better penetration than a narrow grizzly. I wish I would have used them!  I hunted all year with 3 blade VPAs which anyone would agree are great heads for almost any animal. But someone threw a hex on them for me. I'll use the Grizzly, Centaur and Zwickey Deltas next year.
