Thickest Presure strip !

What is the thickest presure strip you guys use ? I'm currently using .030 and end up with a a little cupping using it on a topless form ,I saw one of the big box stores has some .065 aluminum strips that I was thinking about getting or any body got any ideas ?

If you're using a topless form -- either air or rubberband -- go for the thickest pressure strip that you can bend into your jib...

Back when I used clamps, I used 1/4" no void plywood with shallow kerfs cut perpendicular to allow some flex.
