What is it? (part one)
« on: August 07, 2019, 06:12:45 PM »
I grabbed a couple more cheap bows off C-list. It seems to be a bad habit.... Oh well, there are worse things I could be doing. This has no identifying stickers, medallions, or anything that I can find other than serial numbers and length and weight info, with an S stamped into the riser as well- Any guesses? Green glass both sides, btw   Thanks for any light that can be shed on it!

Wadde, does the stamp signify a second? And, where can I learn a little more, does Indian have a history website?  Thanks a bunch.

The S means factory second. Probably a Savage model mid to late 60's. Don't know of any Indian history website. old catalogs are good reference material.

Looks like a Ben Pearson Cougar
I would rather fail at something above my means, than to succeed at something  beneath my means
