I've had good experiences with my setup.
54# @ 27" Cari-bow Taiga
beman 400's 30" long and weighted to 670gr
magnus 2 blades 150gr

Got pass thru's even on the last moose where I hit ribs on the way in and out. Moose only went 25 yards.

Thank you everyone for all of the info. I've found a source for some heavy ASH shafts that will spine for my BBO. I will try these and see if I can get them to fly perfect.

JD,

Sorry I missed the heavy ash shaft deal.  If you can find Mike at silent pond see if you can get him to make some if yours dont work out.  I used to use them before going back to POC and loved them to death.  gonna go back to ash if I cant get a footed shaft rounding jig figured out, tweaked and working.
