New Arrows for Chamberlin Ranch
« on: March 30, 2008, 12:23:00 AM »
Just finished a dozen arrows for the Chamberlin Ranch shoot in two weeks.  These were a dozen GT blems from Sipsey River.  Sure is fun making arrows; still gotta get to woodies.

Nice arrows. I will miss this shoot for the first time and I am sad. Not only a great shoot but lots of great raffle prizes.

Enjoy

Ron, I'm sorry to hear you won't be able to make it.  The shoot won't be the same without you.

Thanks for the compliments.  I like to think that all of my arrows are too nice to shoot; I really like making them.  That prompts a philosophical question: Should one shoot the first arrow of the dozen at a rock to get it out of the way; or, is the surprise of destroying the first one better?

I can hardly wait for the shoot.  Hangin' with DesertDude and RedAnt is always a good time

Someone once counseled me to look at arrows as performance art.  They only exist for a short while (relatively).  Enjoy them while they are here, because when they're gone they're gone.

It worked for me.

Nice arrows Kevin. Remember arrows are expendable ammo.
Just got back from Lake Henshaw and looked around new club range area. You better make another dozen or two.
