Ran in a Tradganger yesterday !
« on: December 16, 2018, 08:09:23 AM »
I was up at Lancaster Archery yesterday and I was over by the Traditional bows and talking to someone about the Galaxy (Black Ridge) bows and a Big fella heard my conversation and also agreed on not underestimating the bows due to the low cost and the performance . Anyway I talked with this Big fella and we both talked about bows and such and I told him I'm Keefer's here on TG. He said "You had your right hand severed in a logsplitter right"? I said yes I did and he said I got my hand cought in a rolling press and he showed me what was left of his hand. He said "I'm Big Ed and we both shook hands and what a powerful grip he still has with that hand and the few fingers he has left.So here we are both looking at our right hands all mangled up and both still shooting and pulling the string with what we have and enjoying Traditional Archery.
We talked a little while and parted our separate ways but I thought how Awesome to put a face with a name.
Ed I enjoyed meeting you and hopefully we will meet again. God Bless and Merry Christmas!

Keefer,
It was great to meet you and put a face with a name. I’m sure we’ll meet up again and hopefully get to shoot a Course or two at Baltimore.

I had a deal with some arrows with Big Ed and he went above and beyond with shipping, keeping in contact with me and he cut me a check of a deal. He is a class act for sure!

Met Ed at a bunny hunt, ran into him at ETAR and Baltimore, and even swapped or sold a bow or 2 back and forth. Always says hello and is a great guy to deal with. Just good people all around. :notworthy:

They don't come any better than Ed. I also met him at a Bunny Hunt when he found and returned a lost arrow to me. Since then we have sold several bows back and forth. Ed was also the first guy to step up and help me out when I had shoulder surgery.
We could use more like him.
