Jim-thank you so much for your story line every year! I enjoy very much and also learn a lot as well! Not just from you but from others as well with their posts! Do not be bummed the way the year ended because that is life and we must continue on and learn! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you Jim! Thanks again.

This is the antler from the buck I talked about in my 12/9 post. I knew when he walked by that the shedding of his right side had been that very day. He had been monkeying around in some apple trees below me. Over the last several days we have lost most of our snow. So I went out yesterday and cruised thru those trees. It took me about 15 minutes to find this beauty.. Hopefully he will make it thru the winter and the CWD purge next month , so that we can have a thread about him next year.

I'm happy to see there's a buck on your radar for next year Jim. As I'm sure you know, there's a lot of us already anxious for your updates from the 2019 season!!

Snow has been coming down up here (Deer River, MN) since last night around 10 pm.  We must have close to 10" of new snow on the ground and there's no signs of it slowing down until tomorrow.

That's it, keep looking ahead.

Nice shed, good on you for looking. Lots can happen until next season, but having that antler to hold will keep you going.

Thanks for sharing.
