Brand new bow - late season doe
« on: December 29, 2018, 06:35:47 PM »
I just got this bow last week. I works pretty good. JK Kanati 61lb@30" .320 Grizzlystik TDT, Zwickey Delta weighted to 250 grains. Total arrow weight 670 grains.
I shot from a blind and I'm not too used to that and didn't make a perfect shot. I had to shoot over a small deer and hit this doe a little high, cutting the spine and immediately dropping her. I put a second one through from the last rib up through and out the base of the neck on the opposite side. I found that arrow back in the weeds. Penetration is excellent with these arrows.

Congrats!  I've always loved the strung profile of those Kanatis.
