I was just wondering if anyone that shoots has particular way they index the head vertical or parallel just wondering if when the arrow flexes around the riser and the head is vertical if it would cause it to plane more so than being parallel thanks in advance.

For my experience they fly like a charm in any directions you index them, since you are able to fine tuning your set up

I have shot them both vertical and horizontal I haven’t seen much difference. With that said I’ve been using the horizontal for some time now.

With their vented design, they actually have less surface area than most solid broadheads. Flight has never been an issue for me, provided that the arrow is properly tuned to the bow.

Tree Sharks have always flown great for me out to the 35 yards no matter how they were indexed. I have not attempted to tune them beyond 35 yards. I do finally index them horizontally as to not obscure the sight picture.
Have read, but have not tested, that a vertically indexed 2 blade BH are more prone to be influenced by higher cross winds.

No need to worry about planning with Vented heads.

I try to run mine either parallel with the riser or 8-2 o'clock position. Im right handed. If the blade is sticking out from the riser at 10 o'clock position, it tends to draw my eye to it..... just on the tree sharks. Tigershark broadheads do not have any problems.
Good luck, shoot straight and God bless,
Rodd

I align them horizontally to not obscure my sight picture as well.
