I have shot a multitude of both. Every tai pan I have shot I really liked, but same with the whip. The whip is nice narrow and sleek, but then so Is the taipan. The main difference limb wise is the tai pan has trapped limbs and a deeper lam stack. The tai pans had incredible cast!!!! Not that the whip doesn't have good cast though, but Taipan hands down on cast. As far as hand shock, neither had any I can feel. Speed? If that matters I think the Taipan has the slight upper hand. The whip is uncommonly quite, but again so is the taipan. I honestly can't think of anything bad to say about either bow. But I do favor the taipan. Just the way it feels to me and looks I guess. Not that the whips dont feel great though because they did. I realize I have probably helped none. Lol this has been a tough comparison!
