site window/riser thickness

On a r/d longbow with a cut out site window, what is the recommended thickness of the riser next to the site window? The riser is 1 1/2 - 1 3/8 " thick. I would like to get as close to center shot as possible. I do have 2 accent strips of cocobola with a strip of fiber glass between them that runs through the middle of the riser.

I don't know if there is a formula for that. Depends on weight of bow, design, handshock level, arrow weight, thickness of accent stripes, etc.
My 53# recurve has riser window thickness of 3/4", and has accent stripes of phenolic and walnut. It is center shot, and I have had zero problems with it.
