Recurve question
« on: April 01, 2008, 08:39:00 AM »
I just bought a Sarrels Wildcat recurve as this is my first trad bow.  My question is: After I got it strung up and drew it back a few times, the string will come out of the grooves on opposite sides of top and bottom.  Of course my first thought was limb twist!!!!  But then the most logical answer, I assume, would be string too long or short?  So does anyone have brace height specs on this bow?  I do have an email in for Bob btw.  If I was to purchase a new string for this dude, what is your opinion on length and brand?  56" 53# @28

Thanks

Contact Bob!!  Sounds like the limbs are out of alignment.
