DIY Arrow Case Ideas?

I'd like something to store/transport my woodies in, that isn't a piece of PVC tubing or store-bought Plano case. Not that there's anything wrong with this method, I'm just thinking if i'm making my own arrows I might as well make a case that suits them. I have some ideas but would like to see what others have come up with before I get to cutting.

Anyone on TG have some home brewed cases they use to transport/store their arrows in they'd be willing to share and post pics of?

If you want to keep them looking nice drill holes in thin plywood for an upper and lower support and build them into a box. put a lid on it
. Make it round square or whatever. decor the exterior with whatever you like.

Mike, I was ready to start planning one of those out but then wondered how it would work with broadheads?  Is there a way or am I missing something in the description?

Holes on one end for the nocks to slide into and slots on the other end for the arrow to drop down into, then stretch a light bungee cord across the shafts, back a few inches from the point end.

The slotted end could be 3 to 4 inches shorter than the end of the box to allot for different length arrows.

Then line the slots with a felt material.

They also sell little clips that arrows can snap down into.

I made this box from 1/4" Baltic birch ply.  Its all done in Rabbet joints.

Thanks for the good ideas everyone, and the pic Wolftrail. I’m leaning towards something a lot like you showed.

I’ll keep checking back for a few more days to see if anyone else has something else they liked that they made.
