I'm torn between the waldrop pacseat and the millennium g 100. So which one guys?

I have both and use the Millinium mainly in ground blinds when I pre set up a blind in a spot I leave it in there.  For all around ground hunting my choice would be the Waldrop.  It is very light and carries so much better.  The only reason I have the Millinium is because I bought it before the Waldrop.

I have not used the waldrop pac seat but I think i will buy one with the good reviews, only for hunting when not using a ground blind. For a ground blind though the millennium is the bomb. That is what I use for ground blind hunting. Where I live you need a chair where the legs adjust because a lot of times you don't have even ground where your blind is. It is nice to be able to adjust for height and for ground that is not level. It is so comfortable and so quiet and it swivels. Even if I buy the pac seat I don't think i would use it over the millennium for ground blind hunting unless I am in an area where I have to carry it in a good ways. I think the millennium is 6-7 pounds. Can't recommend the millennium enough.

Sure depends on what you’re after... I have the Millenium and it’s awesome. Levels, adjusts for height, swivels, quiet, super comfortable, and portable. It sits away from a tree and doesn’t lean in to one. Both are nice,  but if only one I vote Millennium. Otherwise get both

I've never used a Waldrop, but I use my Millenium in my DB all the time. It's well made and very comfortable. I will not use a seat that does not swivel.

I bought a Millennium for use in a ground blind for an early season elk hunt in Colorado this past August.  I was set up on a slight slope above a pond and the legs easily adjusted to keep me level.  It was very comfortable to sit long hours in ...but, on day 2 of a 6 day hunt it started squeaking at the slightest amount of movement.  I never could locate the source of the noise.  It was funny because the first half hour of each sit it was just fine and then it would start squeaking and progressively get worse.  It would squeak when simply shifting weight and when turning on the swivel.  I'm not a big guy so weight was not the issue and it was dry so it wasn't moisture either.  Given what they cost I was disappointed to say the least.  Additionally, I don't know how far you have to walk it in, but it isn't that light at 8.5 lbs.

Stinger, I would call and talk to the guys at Millennium about an exchange for a new chair. That chair shouldn't make a sound. I have two of them and a friend has one and they are so quiet. I have never had mine make a noise while hunting. I had a couple of other chairs that cost us a couple nice coues deer when we moved to shoot and they made a noise, never the millennium.

I love my Waldrop pac seat! So my vote is there.

I can't help with a comparison of your two choices as never been in the other one. I'll just say you will not by disappointed with a Waldrop pac. Think mine is going on three yrs and I use it ALL the time not just hunting? Sporting events without he daughter, fishing, going to the beach; seariously have the Waldrop close by all the time.

Another Millenium fan here.  Love the swivel capability.  Never a bit of noise for me.  I don't have a lot of trees to lean a Pac Seat on to and mainly just put the Millenium in a brush pile.  I believe the Pac Seat is also a fine product but my decision was based on mainly the terrain where I hunt.

I am only familiar with the Waldrop Seat, but one thing I like about it is that it comes with a bag that I can put a boned out pig or deer in -then I just have to find a friend to actually carry it out for me .

Own both...Waldrop is easily my personal choice for typical popup blinds and ground hunting...if I couldn't use my Waldrop, another seat besides the Millennium would go....1. I am too tall at 6'1" to shoot out 5'7" tall blinds in a Millennium...often need to be able to move left and right for correct positioning in order to make a shot...need to be able to hit my knees quickly and quietly for quick and silent positioning and repositioning....have executed most shots from my knees whether hunting deer, turkeys or hogs.. The Millennium, for me, is far too cumbersome and often in the way compared to using and manipulating the Waldrop.

The Millennium is a fine seat but does not come close to meeting my personal needs and application.


The Millennium only goes when I am guiding someone in a large blind.

Not being critical of either mentioned seat, but I have my best luck hunting hill sides that have been taken over with cedar shrubs.  The shot can come from anywhere.  I can set my Huntmor up and rotate any direction. I can also carry it with my back quiver with a simple strap alteration.  This is a benefit to me because I still hunt for pheasants often, while sneaking to my chosen spot and still get off a good shot.  The Nifty seat assembled and strapped to my side works for that as well, but during the early rut, I find that hunting from 10 in the morning to sundown, makes for a very long sit on a Nifty seat.
