Anyone have any validated results on Turkeys with the VPA Spur Broadhead? I picked up a set, and am intrigued, but cautious with the 1 1/8" cutting diameter. Anxious to try them, based on positive feedback.

I was intrigued as well, until I knew the dimensions. Not seeing much advantage in that.

I've killed several turkey with the standard VPA 1-1/8" 3 blades heads.
I have a 3 pack of the spurs, but never used them.
Suspect they'll work just fine, but don't see any advantage.

I sure can't knock the quality of VPA heads, but I don't favor any kind of stopping action.
That one looks like it would impede penetration in a big way. It's just not needed as turkeys are not easy to shoot through.

I agree with Charlie, I'd leave those to the bows with wheels. VPA makes great products though.

Thanks everyone, I'll stick with my Snuffer's and Woodsman's. They've always worked in the past.
