Glad to hear Jim's situation wasn't terminal!!!!  Cell phones can be a blessing and a curse!

Wudstix,

I was almost fatal.  Those guys sent pictures to my “old” cell tracfone.  It took 30 minutes of time off to download the darn things.  I felt faint and thought I was going to have a heart attack. :banghead:

It was a good trip with finshtr , David Mitchell and his son Matt. I took 2 boars with my 47# BW and my wood arrows shooting single bevel 2 blade grizzlys, 155 grain.

I did not see that Wayne had already posted before I did and then I messed up and put the same hog on twice. Getting old will mess with your head! At least mine. Lol. Thanks Wayne.

Nice hogs guys, looks like a great time. Hoppy and his boys are true gentelmen. My wife surprised me this Christmas with a trip to Osceola in July. It will be my fourth time there.

Hitman aka Don, makes gorgeous wood arrows.  He and Wayne are as good as they come to spend time with chasing pigs.  It was a little toughter this year than usual due to a huge acorn crop that kept the pigs back in the thick, nasty stuff, but good company always makes things go better.  Don, you're not old, just getting seasoned.
This time is always special when I get to hunt with my son and enjoy some relaxed, unhurried time together.  He does not live close and has a family and a  busy optometry practice, so the time we get to be together is priceless.
The years accumulate on old friendships like tree rings, during which time a kind of unspoken care and loyalty accrue between men.
