"Zapper" with Pics
« on: April 02, 2008, 08:19:00 PM »
David Knipes (aka Vermonster13) posted on March 3rd about his "New Zapper".  Here's the sister.  Zipper limbs from Vermonster13 and a Bubinga Riser made by Robert Painter (aka twotimer) and his friend James Kimbrell.

It flat out shoots = Zapper.  It was sent to try out; however, after shooting it I'm invoking the saying that "possession is 9/10's of the law"

Thanks David, Robert, and James

They aren't for sale. It is a set of Bob Thompson limbs put on a one of a kind riser made by my good friend Robert Painter. Robert doesn't sell bows, he makes them for family and friends as a hobby. So getting one is pretty special.

Larry needs to post his first group picture. I've seen it and for someone who's only been shooting for a few months, it's pretty impressive.

15 yards first five arrows. Larry is too shy to share this.

Sweet bow Robert and James! Dave thanks for the loaner until he decides what kind of bow he wants.

Nice shooting! Imagine what it will be like when he starts getting pointers from others. My dad is totally self taught.

One of the local Sporting Good's Stores here started their weekly shoots tonight.  Although there were alot more wheelie shooters than the 3 trads, I at least got a chance to shoot the new Zapper.  It performed real well -- I felt good being so new to trad shooting by leaving with a 163 out of 200.  Dave, Robert, and James did produce a sweet bow!  If ya'll go into full production, let me know.  I want to buy stock!
