Bowfishing is a lot of good things but definitely wet and often times nasty. Doesn't take much of a bow/rig to shoot them with authority. 35-40# is plenty. Save your Widow.

I can't think of a better use for a Widow than to have holes drilled in it and to be bouncing around a boat and/or at the bottom of the river  ;)

I have decided to stop messing around with trading and such. I shoot my RER Arroyo like there is no tomorrow!! I did just buy a new PSE Kingfisher for bowfishing and actually sold it to Marlk Fedrizzi and changed my mind, sent him is money back today!! I have decided to make this Widow my beater bow. I hope this cures me of my sickness!! I have decided to buy the strap on adapter though. I better kill some fish!!!  :biglaugh:    Shawn

If you are going to put a stabilizer insert in a new widow send it back to Black Widow and let them do it right. They do add factory bushings for free. Sent mine back for sight bushings and a plunger bushing. All it cost me was shipping. Factory installed bushings hurt the bows value less than if you do it yourself.
