Although I'm new to the "gang", I have been in traditional archery for almost 50 years and still love it.  I like to think that "the older I get, the better I was".  Recently, I got hooked on bowfishing and in the past few years have bowfished in northeast Arkansas (my home), Texas and Arizona.  I have no trouble finding needle-nose gar, carp and buffalo, but have little luck in Arkansas locating large gator gar.  Any suggestions on where I might find them would be greatly appreciated. I have a great bowfishing boat and there's always room for new buddies. Thanks, Jim Finn

I would contact CK, he runs 7th Age Bowhunting and is a sponsor, about his bowfishing trips. You may also luck into a frog hunt with him as well.

Also you can do a search for guides in the Mobile, Alabama area. There are some big Gator gars in Mobile Bay.

Texhoma lake, Eufalua lake, Washaita river, Red river all in Okla. have real good Gator gar.
Texhoma to me is probably the best imo in okla.
