«

I have a Bear Kodiak Magnum 52", 48#@ 28. Serial number is 9U8648. I thought it was a 69 model but I've had someone question it, so now I'm not sure. Does anyone know for sure. It has a copper coin and it's Brazilian rosewood. Thanks for y'alls help...…..Bill

In 1969, three variations of the Kodiak Magnum were made. Type 1 and Type 2 were both made of Tigerwood. Type 3 was made of Shedua backed and faced with Arctic grey glass and topped off with a decorative 3 ply black/white/black glass cap to the handle and black tip overlays. They had a brass coin.
Thank you Jorge L. Coppen!

Thank you. I will look closer this evening after work. The coin is tarnished so I may have mistook it for copper...……..Bill
