Phoenix L/B by Predator Bows
« on: April 04, 2008, 11:18:00 PM »
Anyone shot one of the new Phoenix Predator longbows made by Mr. Pitsly?  I have shot one of his recurves and was very impressed. Any thoughts, opinions, pros or cons.  Any info would be appreciated.

I shot one when he was building them several years back. They have been around a while. It was fast and shot as good as my 21st century .RC

I just shot one about a week ago. It was a good shooter, fast for sure. I was a little hand shockey to me though. It was a different grip for a long bow also.

I am interested in the performance and photos of the Predator longbow. I looked at the website but can't get a good look at the handle/riser.

Love the Predator recurve and would like to own one some day, didn't care for the Phoenix LB. I shot the Phoenix last May while Ron was at the Baltimore shoot. It had a bit more hand shock and just didn't perform like other longbows I own. Of course, as wood bows go, It might have been just been that one bow. JMO

Hatrick:  What type of L/B do you own to compare it too?  I am just curios what you would liken it to shooting wise.  Thanks
