CHECKING ALL THE BOXES FOR OUR THIRD TRY!
SUNDAY May 19th - The 2nd Annual Cos Cob Archers Traditional Way Shoot & Swap Meet.

Weather is looking good, CHECK !
Close to 100 challenging shot opportunities have been set up, CHECK !
Some judo blocks and novelty shots added in, CHECK !
A number of fantastic vendors are confirmed, CHECK !
Finger-lickin' food has been ordered, CHECK !
Parking on and just off site 150+ vehicles has been arranged, CHECK !
An awesome day of traditional archery is expected for all, DOUBLE CHECK !!!

GATES OPEN: 8:00am.
REGISTRATION: 8:00am -11:00am.
ENTRY FEE: $25 for non-members, $10 for members, $10 for kids under 16 (All children must be accompanied by an adult).
A quick breakfast and BBQ lunch are included in the entry fee!
SWAP MEET: 1:00pm-3:00pm

In case of inclement weather AGAIN a cancellation notice will be posted May 18th on the Cos Cob Archers Facebook Page and Website.

Question:  Is the shot for the deer behind the picket fence w/ the "NO HUNTING" and "POSTED SIGN" really to test ones ethics    and is actually a "No Shoot"  and should reflect a "0" on the scoring card

just landed back home---well
mike and the Cos Cob  club put on some spread!!!weeks of work had to go into a shoot of that caliber!!----and it shows!!
         NICE SHOOT !!!   don't miss it next year!!---40 stakes---but do not let that fool you!!there a at least double that in targets!!---coffee and muffins---then lunch!!---

What bamboo said! Excellent shoot great time, shot with some Jersey boys had a lot of fun for sure. Absolutely a must shoot. Trad is the place to be without a doubt

Another great shoot just as bamboo said.   Mike, Peter and the Cos Cob crew did another great job .
During the AM shoot my son and I got caught almost immediately behind a group of 8 shooters    who did ask if we'd like to shoot thru them  . Normally we would but we had more fun watching these guys breaking on each other along with 8 different styles of shooting    so we decided to just shoot behind and enjoy. Here's a spy shot I took of them.

jeeze jim---been too long -when a guy doesn't recognize an old buddy!! in my defense--we weren't in our february rabbit hunting clothes!!--that was some course eh??!!

Mike it sure was a great course. Funny I must have looked you in the eye a few times as we waited and shot behind your group for about 2 hrs    but I guess you must have been one of the twins we all have  as u didn’t recognize me.   in your defense I am sporting a light beard so maybe it was stoping my good looks from coming thru.
