hi, i have a set of irbis limbs rated @60@28 on a19"riser.All nature limbs are  measured on 19"risers, so 60#s is a provisional measure.
Mine on a 17" satori are well into the 60s.With my bolts 3/turns out are 60 odd @ 29".Yes theres a mark on the limbs, from contact with
the riser when drawing the bow. This is right alongside the pocket, and they are about 2/3 mls in dia, it is absolutely nothing, actually its
just the top coat they spray on there is no physical sign of carbon wearing.Carbon is a tough substance just look at your arrows and what
abuse they can handle.I personally think alot of whats said about everything these days is bull/s.cheers.

I have VX+, the curviest ones.Had a lot of "top" limbs. These I like the most.It takes time to get used to the early load.
But their low humm silence even with light arrows still surprises.Finish is not good, but its irrelevant to me.
Fast.

What's harsh about a border limb?

Only thing I can think of is the early draw weight load.  I picked up a set of Max 6 ILF and they have the same early loading draw.  Just a tad slower than Borders.
Super Curves.....
Covert Hunter Hex9h
Morrison Max 6 ILF
Mountain Muffler strings to keep them quiet
Shoot as much weight as you can with accuracy
