You would think someone would gear up to make a lot of them. Since there are some many recently killed ash trees. It makes great arrows.

Tedd, depends on the disease. I remember years ago the Dutch Elm disease that wiped out our old Elms in the town I lived in, Elmhurst, Il. The trees were cut and buried, not burned or used for lumber for fear the disease would get into the air.
 As for Ash shafts maybe Twig Archery?
