Solo Stalker Users - Questions
« on: April 09, 2008, 03:25:00 PM »
You guys that use them:  Do you shoot with the hood attached to the bow?  What kind of noise does that make?  What do you use at the other end to attach the arrow to the bow for carrying?

Just wondering. Amazing the things that pop up in my brain at 3:00 am.....  :help:  ....

Bob I tie the hood of my solo stalker on my upper limb then lay the shaft of the arrow along the riser.  Then the arrow and the bow lay in my hand while I carry the bow.  It is really great for still hunting.

Bob, yes I shoot with it tied to my upper limb and doesn't add to much noise but be sure you dont tie it out on the working part of the limb.  And I dont attach the other end to the bow because it is held in place by my hand when I am carrying the bow.

Black Widow has an interesting version.  The top piece and the bottom both stick to the bow with double sticky stuff.  Still a single arrow "quiver".   I HAVE used that and like it.  I HAVE NEVER used the true Solo quiver.

Found in scriptures dated to 924 AD.  We Hungarians were a bad a$$ warrior culture prior to the advent of modern weaponry.

I use one on one of my bows and it works nicely.  I don't notice any extra noise.  To hold the bottom I used a tip from the Bowyers Edge website and modified a piggy backer arrow holder to tie on and hold the single arrow.
