Nicely done, Keith... sign and the manger...

Thank you guys and wouldn't you know several years ago I built a 8 foot Manger at our Church and we had it on a flat trailer with lights glowing out the manger in the night sky.
As I was building it I was so excited just of the thought of the Story of Jesus and how He was hidden so well in a Manger where no one would search for Him.
Ironic how it seems He is hidden in a Manger once again but in plain sight and many till this day don't search for Him.
That Manger I built got a few folks hollering a "Amen"  in the crowd as we went through the Christmas parade .
Then we set it up for a few years in front of the Church full of straw and lights beaming around it.
For some reason it is sitting way back under a open pole shed at the back corner of the Church property where no one see's it BUT I know it is there.
My mind drifts back as in the day Jesus was hidden away in a Manger.
I may ask the Church If I can have it and set it up each year cause I built it for All to see and be reminded that "Jesus Is The Reason For The Season" !
The one you see is from pallets I collected and used a propane torch to make it look old, dirty and unclean But a King of Kings was laid so gently in there and is Alive today .
     Merry Christmas to All.

Good Story, Keith!

Time have changed and it is a different world we live in, for sure...

May we all not loose sight of what it's truly about and the promises His Birth brought to the world...
