Bloody arrows
« on: November 03, 2019, 08:17:02 AM »
Fletched up some new Black Eagle Vintage arrows thi past week with some 2" yellow feathers.  They flew well even with the inch and a half heads I use and at 20 yards they hit a couple of inches higher as well as being quieter.   So I put three in my quiver with some red Glory nocks on them and drove out to ourcranch forge weekend.  Last night a target doe gave me a shot right at quitting time and I ruined one of my new arrows.
The Primaltech shot straight again.

Three strikes doe.
1.  Big mature doe with no fawn
2.  Physical issue/ huge cyst on her chest.
3.  She was a spooky, circle you, try to sniff you out and snort at nothing just to be a batch doe.
Number 3 I have no tolerance for.  Always a death sentence.

Interesting. I have a similar list, but it only has one requirement:
1. Doe
Klaatu, Verata, Nicto
