Daughter's first sit
« on: November 01, 2019, 10:34:18 AM »
My six year old has been showing a great interest in hunting lately and we finally had the opportunity to get out for an afternoon sit in our turkey spot (it may have meant me signing her out of school early :dunno:). We kicked up some deer and saw some squirrels but no turkeys wanted to cooperate. One of Fred Bear's quotes really resonated with me that day " A hunt based only on trophies taken falls far short of what the ultimate goal should be".  Truly blessed that she wants to be my hunting buddy. Faith will be accompanying me on many upcoming sits as well.

Took my son and daughter hunting when they were young.  Good times.  'course they haven't talked to me in years now so you best enjoy it while you can.
