Good job Tim!!!

Ronnie, I won't make the TX hunt, I seem to always have too many irons in the fire for my own good!
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Congrats Tim!!!!

Spike and doe only for me. I’m in the blind. It’s hotter than hades. Very well could be my last sit of this season for deer!!!

Think I'm all done, calling for rain in morning, then 20 mph wind and dropping 20 degrees tomorrow afternoon.
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Thanks boys.....here’s your story arro30.  I had just set up in a strip of woods that lies between 2 wheat fields.  The strip is about 40 yds wide and 300 long and connects two larger patches of woods.....it’s about the perfect spot and I passed a dang lotta deer there in the few times I hunted it trying to kill one of the big ones.

Anyway 3 days left and I still got a pocket full of tags and out comes a doe and small buck in the wheat to the NW.  I thought what the heck I’ll give him a grunt.  He pops his head up and stares......then comes running right at me.....wasent expecting that so scrambling for my bow....he came on my right side and as he passed I shot him quartering.....watched him pile up in the wheat.  It was an exciting hunt.

One more hunt tonight and I’ll be back in the same spot if the wind stays good!

My schedule changed so I was going to be able to hunt today, our last day. Instead I’m at work till Friday. Tag soup for me.

We have one weekend left.  Doe and spike only although young spikes are not targets.
Thank goodness it year round pigs.
But I'll be out there Saturday and Sunday.

Out after them again this evening,Monday is the last day for PA. Couple inches of snow in the forecast for tomorrow hopefully they will be moving soon.

I think I’m done with one tag to eat. I may get a chance to go Sunday afternoon, which is the last afternoon of the General Season, but with in-law issues, I’m not holding my breath!!!!
