No Kzoo for me.
« on: January 25, 2020, 08:25:12 AM »
Well, woke up to sick kids. Was pretty sure I was leaving Kzoo with either a Java Man Elkheart, JT Apollo 2, Great Northern Ghost or St Joe Torrent...which ever one spoke to me. Then doing a brewery circuit with the wife. Just canceled the hotel. More bows and beer for guys and girls now. If anyone gets one of the listed bows and is at the Lapeer (MI) shoot in August let me know. I’d like to try em.

I feel for you brother--- i look forward to this expo every year, but blew a disc chopping wood two weeks ago.  I gave a buddy some cash and trading material in case he finds a good deal in a lefty.  The best part of that expo ( besides the great craft beers locally) is being able to try bows out.
We always shot 3 D there and i was sorry to hear they did away with the shoot.
Hope your kids get better soon.

Bummer, I've been one time many years ago and enjoyed every minute.  It seems like I found a deal on a non-refundable round trip ticket months in advance and then sweated the odds of getting iced out of Detroit Metro in the middle of winter....about even I figured.  Had no problems and then got to the airport for the return trip only to find out Raleigh, NC RDU was iced in, go figure!  They killed time by re-routing me to Houston and then to Nashville the next day.  I got back around lunchtime on Monday....definitely worth missing a day of work!

Tag sorry to hear that, spent the weekend there with my wife and good friends from Pennsylvania who made the trip up.  It was a great show as usual, I own an Elkheart and shot the Apollo 2, both are great shooting bows, both quick and quiet and very stable in the hand.  Both my daughters shot bow from JT also, one shot a Storm, and the other shot the Apollo, and from the smiles on their faces they were very impressed, as was I watching them shoot side by side.  Good luck in your search, and happy shooting.

Too many bows to list, and so many more I want to try!  Keep the wind in your face, and your broadheads sharp.

Man I don't miss those days of sick kids and them passing it on to me!
But they are only young once and you gotta enjoy that time.  Even when it's just caring for them during sickness.

I can afford to shoot most any bow I like.  And I like Primal Tech bows.

My wife booked a trip to Florida trip thru sunday so no trip this year. This makes two years I didn't get to donate to B4kids. I will be there next year.
