Family prayer request
« on: November 04, 2019, 11:42:20 AM »
Gentlemen,

If you have time and remember, please lift up my Son Zac. He claims that his heart has been racing at night so we took him the Heart Doc and they could not find anything. They are monitoring his heart with some gadget taped to his chest. So we will see what it records. Drs. don't think its anything but a little prayer would not hurt.

Also, Ill be leaving for a few days and if you could just pray for my family's well being I would appreciate it very much.

Thanks everyone

God Bless.

You got 'em.

This sounds like it could possibly be anxiety attacks. Does Zac drink energy drinks, by chance?

I know he has drank a few energy drinks in the past but I don't think he does now. We had good talk about that.

Sorry to be late to the party, but if you don't log in to check, new stuff doesn't show up in email... :(

Zach is such a good young man...

I have no crystal ball and I'm learning Doc's don't either...so God is the "bestest Doc anyway" so he and the lot of us are totally in God's hands...

I'm sharing a prayer for them to find SOMETHING... and that it be a simple issue to resolve

Gentlemen,

Just want to say thank you for all your prayers. God is good. Zac wore a monitor for a week and has already turned it in. We are waiting for the report.

Trip was best ever. Family did well without me.

Gentlemen,

I apologize for not keeping up with this. The Dr. office took so long to get back with us that we forgot about the monitoring. It was Dave that reminded me. After a few phone calls they set up an appointment. The monitor reveled that he was having an extra heart beat from time to time. Dr. said it was nothing to worry about. But they did another test on him and I'm sorry I don't remember the name of test other than they called it the bubble test. I think it was some dye that was bubbled up and then they were able to see the flow through his heart. The test revealed that Zac had a very small hole in his heart. Again the Dr. said it was not a big deal but needs to be monitored. So next thing is to do a TEE. That's where they take a pic of the heart through the esophagus. I really wish he didn't have to go through that and I almost don't want him to but Dr. says they need to measure and monitor. I was really bummed out about that but I know that it could be a lot worse. But another issue that Zac has been dealing with is migraines. They seem to be more prevalent when has sinus issues (allergies). Some times the headaches are so bad we have to take him to ER. We have taken him to an allergist and they setting him up with some drops to build his immunity to all the things he is allergic to. We also have a appointment with a neurologist. He has already been checkout by one but we decided to try another. I feel bad for him because I can tell that he is worried and depressed about. He is a track star(runs the 400) and I know he is afraid of missing out on practice and meets. If yo don't mind please lift him up in your prayers.

Thanks.

Amicus,

my Dad had Rheumatic fever as a kid and damaged his heart valve, actually 2 of them, but he made it to 90! He had lots of tests and even by pass later in life and then a pacemaker, but he managed!

Dad worked hard his whole life and when he got home, Mom had a "honey do list" as long as his leg! So he was rode hard and put up wet often enough...

I developed allergies, or was diagnosed thus, in 2nd grade and took shots for over 50 years!  Still struggle with allergies, especially a couple gnarly food allergies that preclude me eating out or other's foods at bazars..

Alas, none of us get outa this world alive so whatever is, IS and--- shall be...ZACH will cope and do fine...

I can understand his reticence regarding track, but living well sometimes means giving up stuff we'd like to do...

Finding out our limitations is about all the medical community can do for us, I'm afraid...but that might be a stilted view given my recent experiences...

prayers up for young Zach....

Gilbert,
We will keep Zac in our prayers for sure. Our youngest daughter and our second daughter both had heart issues but our youngest had a hole in her heart and Surgeons had repaired that with a device that was inserted and pulled open to repair the hole. Sort of looked like a little umbrella.
This same daughter also was born with no thumbs and had her first finger moved to look like a thumb and WOW how well it does .
She also had a rod put in her right arm to help make her arm straight and has screws in as well.
This little girl is our third adopted child and she is now 8 years old.
No doubt “Prayers” were answered from many prayer warriors here and elsewhere.
I do pray that Zac heart will be on rhythm as it is designed by our great creator and He is the great physician who can heal it. I pray God will work through the Dr’s and be their hands If any surgery is needed.
Keep the Faith and we will keep Zac lifted in prayer to our Father .
In Jesus name I pray ....

Thanks Keefer. These kids are a lot tougher than me. My little boy is adopted too. Love him so much.

Thank you everyone. Means a lot to me to able come here and ask for prayer. Although Zac has been feeling much better we can tell from his attitude. I need more prayers please. Since Zac had been dealing with headaches and allergies when he told us about a lump in his throat we automatically assumed it was swollen limp nodes due to his sinus infection. But today he brought up again and it’s visible noticeable. He going to dr first thing in the morning. Please pray that it nothing serious. Thanks.

Okay, went to Dr. this morning. Thinks it due to sinus infection, I'll take that. Going to do a sonogram just to make sure. It really scared me, thankful to have you guys.
