Joe Skipp Arrow Supplies (pix)
« on: April 13, 2008, 10:46:00 PM »
I purchased some arrow supplies from Joe Skipp from Renegade Archery and I have 3 dozen cedars that will be getting them supplies done up next weekend.

Buuuut I had to show off these awsome fletchings so I fletched up a half dozen of my buddies Griz Stix.  They came with some crappy black/yellow bar fletch and you just couldn't see them things so I stripped em down and gave it a little bit of my personal touch  :)

These are the best arrows I've done thus far I have finally perfected the offset and helical with my jig and now they come out friggin perfect.  I've fletched some arrows with other brands but these AMG are my new favorites they are phenominal!

Thanks for the awsome feathers Joe your the man!

Here are some pix of em!  I think I converted another one to pink   :bigsmyl:    :biglaugh:

Stay tuned next week for my new cedars that are getting sealed as we speak!

If we lose one of them in the brush we have bigger issues then hitting the target LOL

Beautiful! Joe sent me some AMG feathers too, and the grind was wonderful on them. Not too thick, not too thin...just right!

great looking arrows.

my type of arrow, if you miss the target and I sure do I can find them again.

I have been using the amg feathers for two years now and find they are good as all the other brands if not better.

For target shooting the brighter the better I always say...especialy when we take those 50-80 yard shots way deep in the back woods.  Helps finding them that much easier!

Bohning cheapo thing.  It works great for 3 fletch...a bit touchy with my 4 fletch but they still fly.

I'm getting my full lengths exclusively from Joe. Great product and even better service.

Thomas, I'm using the same color on my arrows too. Hard to lose pink! Are you dipping or wrapping? If dipping, what color are you using? I'm getting pretty close with rustoleum flouro pink but yours seems to match even better.

Hick, not sure what you mean by "natural or artificial"....but they are real turkey feathers, just dyed artificial colors. They do not offer undyed/natural colored turkey feathers to my knowledge.

JC those are wraps...I just dont have the time yet to start dipping...sealing  my cedars take long enough with sealing them let alone the dipping LOL.

Thats my next investment new tubes for dipping and cresting and what not.

Wraps are from onestringer.
