Pack basket

Where is a good place to get a pack basket? I’d like to use one for ice fishing and making trails for tree stands this spring.

I have an old one from LL Bean but don't know if they still sell them or not.
Just Google pack baskets, there should be some choice there.

Loring makes a nice one.  It is made with plastic strips and is nearly indestructible.

When I was doing some serious trapping I zip tied a milk crate on the bottom of one of the old aluminum pack frames. It’s indestructible and could hold a lot of weight.

Make one from a new 13 gallon plastic trash bucket from Wal mart. All you need are a couple firing strips, shoulder straps and a rubber car floor mat for a cover. Dave Canterbury builds a nice one on his Youtube channel Self Reliance Outfitters

I made one out of a kitty litter bucket stuffed in an old surplus duffle bag and added shoulder straps.  There is a guy in Maine that makes absolute pieces of art. A bit pricey.
