I started using Mohawk UltraClear Conversion Varnish last year. Mostly because all the CV I had been using previously was discontinued or unavailable for shipping.
So far, so good. I like it. High solids. Plenty of pot life, good flash time. Sprays nice straight out of the can. I don't use a HVLP gun. It's self sealing, but I still like a vinyl sealer underneath.

I'm sure Mohawk makes some pre mixed, amongst the hundreds of products they manufacture.
I've only used one of their many conversion varnishes, which is a two component cayalyzed finish.

Krystal is good stuff. I was using it until my local supplier discontinued selling it. I wish Big Jim sold it in finishes other than Dull.

I base coat with epoxy then top coat with Krystal dull. The Krystal to me shrinks too bad for base coats over time. Just wish the epoxy was cheaper.
