Also Aluminum easier to pull from foam targets.

They shoot soooo well!

I shot wood for 20 years, aluminum for the last 12. Everyone I know who shoots carbon has some sort of issue with them. I have never tried them and probably never will. I am slow to change anything in my life and avoid trouble when what I have works fine.

I never could get em (carbons) to fly like aluminum.  Tried a bunch of times.  Somewhere in there I started buying new old stock aluminum on eBay.  Eventually I realized I might have a lifetime supply of aluminum....Doh

Thanks for all the responses. They helped me make the decision to go back to aluminums. Ordered them full length so I can bare shaft tune them. It will be a totally different set up then I’m use to. With the extra weight of the aluminums I’m lightening up the tips. Using 160 grain Zwickeys. My current carbon arrows have 250 grain Cut Throats. Hope to have it tuned by turkey season. Thanks again guys, and good luck if you’re chasing birds soon.
