hello, and sorry for horning in on your post, but I received my Wesley yesterday and after putting fur silencers on it, it is the quietest bow I have heard. It really throws a 650 gr. arrow too!

Apex....
Change your hand placement and you wont hit your Armguard....
Place the big joint of your thumb closer to the center of the Bow....

Marty,
I heard your bow as well last weekend. I thought it was extremely quiet.

I believe what you are hearing is arrow/string slap on YOU...its not noisy enough for others to hear...but YOU do.

Its more likely that, due to a different bow than you have shot before/ brace height difference, etc.

Why not try moving your stance to a slightly more open position and see if that fixes it...then you will know if I am right before changing things.

Don't worry about accuracy- just head them toward the bale and listen for whether sound is quieter.
A more open stance, a little more crook in your left arm should do the trick.

I am getting light arm slap.  I don't normally wear an armgaurd unless I need to keep a sleave out of the way.  I went a little over 6 1/2" on the brace height and it helped.  I don't think I will worry on this any more.  Now for my nose getting in the way of the string!  These long bows are scraping the end of my nose when I shoot them.  I have to look into my form on that one.
