Anyone bowhunt near York, Nebraska?
« on: April 16, 2008, 03:30:00 PM »
I got an invitation to hunt near York this fall.  I brought up google earth and see A LOT of farm land and a few bottom draws.  It's not too far from where I've hunted Missouri the last 2 years.
I should say for whitetails.  A good buddy has been there once, 2 years ago and is going back this fall.  The trip won't be too expensive and figured I'd better run it past the Gang before the Boss knows about the invite....no sense ruffling her feathers first.
My buddy did not shoot a buck, but did have a few encounters with decent ones, just not what he was looking for.  I am not as picky as he is.....
anyone have experience in this general area- I'd appreciate a thought from you.
Thanks  Dave
