2018 spine query

Just curious...if have a 2018 cut to 29" and add 200gn as point weight what wpould it break down the spine to.
i'm looking for something too shoot out of a 50# @ 27" Hill w/ dacron string.....
they shhot great out of my Liberty's English but they are cut. more to center

I would guess about 5lb for the extra inch of shaft and about 10lb for the 200gr point. Total arrow weight will probably be a little over 600grs.

A XX75 2018 static spines at 67 lb. One inch of shaft takes it to 62 and 200 gr of point wt is worth another 5-10 lb, or 52-57 lb. You may find that you do just fine with it or it may be just a bit stiff. Gonna have to shoot it to find out for sure. Good luck, let us know how it all turns out.

That could work for you, but you might want to go with 2020. Try them out, and here is some thing that might help you with weight calc.

I did the chart on the link and compared it to actually weighing my arrow-----exactly the same weight!!!! Both were 525 grains.

2020s are more than likely too stiff, the 2018s set up like you describe may be a tad stiff too. Might try 2114s or 2016s.

I use 2018's 30" and a 145 gr tip for my 52# longbow that I draw 29", they fly great for me.
