Limb Wood

I am looking at a heavier set of limbs for my Chekmate TDH2.I don't know much about these woods.Can anyone provide some input on their pros and cons?I am looking at 70#@32''.My choices are;Black Locust,Hickory,Maple,Red Elm and Shedua.Thanks

What is your riser made up of? Are you thinking of using these woods as core wood?  If its for veneers it wont make much difference in performance. Just a matter of looks.  I have bocote veneers over hickory cores.
