Anyone shoot Black Eagle Instinct micro diameter shafts with 100 gr outsert that extend 3/4" past shaft? You must take this extension into account for spine? How do you like them?

I shoot them alot. Have had multiple failures using the standard outsert which is an very poor design. Much better luck when using ethics archery insert system, although that ups the cost.

Well, you can't tune them to start with without having the outsert installed, so I'm not sure how you would ever know! I recently bought a dozen to try and used a combination of their outserts and Ethics insert/outserts and concur with the post above that the Ethics are the way to go. I have anothet dozen to make up and am using the Ethics insert/outsert exclusively on them. I replace the nocks that come with them also with Bohning nocks.

Various bows, but if you see me shooting, it's probably a Toelke in my hand!
