Season prep
« on: September 09, 2020, 03:26:01 PM »
Finally getting around to building this seasons arrows. Been doing a fletching marathon and trying out my new bear paw fletching jig. Got my tree seat in and just need to tune them. They ain’t pretty but they fly well. Anyone else building arrows for the season??
Nothing clears a troubled mind like shooting a bow.

Like Bowguy67, my arrows are complete.  I've been shooting broadheads for a few weeks now, and plan to re-sharpen them over the next few days for the 2020 Michigan Archery Deer Season which opens on October 1.  Looking forward to another year of fun, fellowship and forest wandering.  Good Hunting Y'all!

I'm still using (for the most part) a set of arrows from several years ago. Each year I get a few more ready to fill in the gaps. I have a set about half complete, but they won't be ready in time for Saturday's opener. All my other gear and stands are ready. Like Cool Hand Luke said, "Mind's right boss! Mind's right".
