What's a PSE Heritage Sequoia longbow worth?
« on: April 20, 2008, 03:49:00 PM »
I was given one today by a good buddy, and it is a 50# @28, 68AMO. Black Walnut sandwiching Mahogany or Purpleheart in the riser, with Maple limbs. Bow is brand new and he gave it to me because he lost use of much of his right shoulder and upper back muscles due to an operation. He also has money to burn and no kids, so often I end up with gear I was not expecting to end up with.......So I restrung it (it was upside down), and added a nock, gave the string 15 twists and left the fistmele at 6.75" or so. Shot 2 dozen arrows and everything is nock right, but dead in the middle of the target. I am not certain if I need a 3d bow and he said I should sell it if I want to, so no problem there. I don't shoot longbows either, so what are these worth in 95% condition? It's actually a cool bow and I like how it shoots!
