Wher's the boys?
« on: October 09, 2020, 03:46:59 PM »
I'm waiting to sing the " The boys are back in town"
OK, what I mean is, I have a substantial amount if does where I hunt and the owner of the property (my wife) has asked me not to shoot any of her girls this year.
So when the boys get to feeling a little romantical, they will come to visit the girls.
Ant I feel it will be my duty to protect them from those brutes.   :nono:
Every year the bucks don't show up much before the last week of October.
But after Halloween, It gets crazy here.  :archer:

I would re’po the property and thin the girls....the fewer girls and the more bucks will run!

Boys always seek out the girls at some point.  We have that here as well.  But a doe for the freezer won't hurt either.
I can afford to shoot most any bow I like.  And I like Primal Tech bows.

Can't hurt to keep a balanced herd. Can't eat the antlers anyways lol.
They'll show up eventually.

Same for me. I got out last Sunday for about five hours in a tree stand. I lost count think I saw 12 does and fawns.  Zero horns.

Mostly does/fawns at my spot. I’ve seen one little forkie, who was following a doe and fawn around...

Late October/first week of November is my absolute favorite time of the year because of the hunting. Bring it on! :archer:
